Actions Have Consequences: Gun Legislation Edition

You know, businesses are kind of funny, they really like to be a respected member of their  communities, it’s not absolutely necessary but it sure makes life easier. I can tell you from experience that it’s no fun at all to work your butt off building a company to have the state and local government demonize what you’re doing. Especially since you are likely paying a million dollars + into the local economy, your employees, your suppliers, the people that help you as contractors and all the rest, plus of course all the taxes a business pays. You would think a city would be grateful, and in truth, most are.

But I guess if your a gun grabbing librul it’s better to get more people on welfare than to have people work for such a firm as Magpull, or Colt Competition, or Mossberg.

Least it looks that way, these firms are all looking (or have found) a new home, where people will respect them for what they do-and do superbly well.

Was this what Colorado and Connecticut had in mind? I doubt it but I also strongly doubt they had any intention of thinking through this or any other problem, our lords and master haven’t tried doing that in years. That’s a good deal of why the country is so screwed up.

“With a heavy heart but a clear mind, we have been forced to decide that our business can no longer survive in Connecticut – the former Constitution state,” PTR said in a statement earlier this month.
AR-15 manufacturer Stag Arms could soon follow suit along with Colt Competition and Mossberg & Sons.
In Connecticut alone, the gun making business employs 3,000 state workers and generates about $1.75 billion in annual taxable revenues. Some say the gun industry’s sprint to move out of state will be a sizeable hit to the state’s economy.

They would surely be welcome here, we like jobs, guns too
