Mr. Mitt Romney, 2008 Is Calling And Wants You Back

I suppose Mitt Romney was in some luxurious home somewhere during the past 2 years, and wasn’t paying attention to the rise of the TEA Party, which of course would explain his arrogant attempt to show he can be a bridge-builder with Democrats. You see Mitt, the reason WE The People rose up was to stop the type of across the aisle shenanigans that have created a debt crisis so extreme as to place this beautiful Country on the precipice of failure. It would be the Bush “forgoing the free market to save the free market” and Obama, Pelosi and Reid cramming Obamacare down our throats with a single Republican who was promptly FIRED for reaching across the aisle, that was the fuel for the fire of liberty burning in our hearts. You see Mitt, WE in the TEA Party have one thing in mind and one thing only and that is the 10th Amendment to the Constitution that gives the States all of the rights that you Republicans and Democrats have together taken away from them and placed in the hands of the Federal Government. This Country was not meant to be a Socialist paradise whereby the Federal Government takes that which is meant to be taken by the State and well, if you thought that saying you could work with Ted Kennedy was a resume builder well, you were damn wrong Obama-lite

As Democratic and Republican leaders in Washington struggled to find agreement on spending cuts and extending the debt limit, Mitt Romney struck a conciliatory note in New Hampshire on Monday by lamenting partisan feuding while touting his record of working with Democrats — even the Senate’s onetime liberal lion Edward M. Kennedy.

At both stops, Romney pointed to the warmth between former President Reagan and former Democratic House Speaker Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill as an example of what is needed in the Capitol.

“I worked with [former Massachusetts Sen.] Ted Kennedy, for Pete’s sakes,” Romney said in Concord, noting that they disagreed on “almost everything.”

One issue that Kennedy and Romney worked closely on was legislation expanding healthcare coverage in Massachusetts. He recalled, to laughter, that at the ceremonial signing of the Massachusetts healthcare law, the Democrat had joked that when he and Romney agreed on a piece of legislation “it proves only one thing – one of us didn’t read it.”

“The truth was we had both read it and we’d found some common ground,” Romney said, “and I think that has to happen in Washington.”

The days of We The People allowing you all to play your pathetic games of “I’ll give you this, if you will give me that” at the expense of freedom are over, so as I said in the title, “2008 is calling Mitt and it wants you back”!
