General Patton would hate Mitch McConnell

General George Patton once said: “Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.” I wish he was alive today so that he could deliver that message in person to Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Mitch McConnell. In a recent Elizabethtown Rotary Club meeting, McConnell demonstrated his total lack of ability to lead, follow, or get out of the way when he told attendees that he expects to maintain but not grow the Republican majority in the U.S. Senate, calling the chances of gaining seats “pretty slim” because Republicans are defending 24 seats while the Democrats only have 10 to defend. How pathetic. Unfortunately, based on his display of absolute spinelessness and ineptitude, Mickey is probably overstating his chances. Last month we learned that the McConnell-led senate has passed nearly every bill with at least 93% Democrat support. In other words, he’s passing legislation with more Democrat votes than Republican. McConnell helped fund Obama’s unconstitutional Executive Amnesty, supported the budget-busting “doc fix,” and helped confirm Obama’s extreme left-wing judicial and administration nominees, including the confirmation of Eric Holder 2.0, Loretta Lynch.
