Democrats’ non-participation trophy

Sen. Hatch didn’t hesitate in changing the Senate Finance Committee rules after Democrats failed to attend a confirmation vote for Steve Mnuchin to be President Trump’s Treasury Secretary and Rep. Tom Price to be President Trump’s HHS Secretary for a second day in a row. This morning, Democrat senators didn’t attend the Senate Environment and […]

Obstructionist Dems stage walkout

This morning, Senate Democrats staged a protest walkout of the Finance Committee hearing. Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch had scheduled confirmation votes for Tom Price and Steve Mnuchin. Instead, Democrats proved that they’re incapable of governing. (It’s impossible to govern if you don’t show up, right?) The simple truth is that this walkout essentially ended the […]

RINO Republicans give Obama his wish… again!

We warned you earlier this month and now it’s official. Led by the RINO-iest RINOs in the Senate, federal prosecutor Loretta Lynch has been confirmed to replace Eric Holder as the new constitutional-killing attorney general. The 56 votes in her favor were the lowest for any attorney general since Michael Mukasey won confirmation with 53 votes in 2007, and there was good reason for the lack of support. Lynch supports Obama’s executive amnesty which grants a free pass to millions of illegals in the country, calling it “reasonable and lawful” during her confirmation hearings, even though a federal judge has ruled it unconstitutional. Democrats angrily criticized Republicans for using the issue against her, but most Republicans were unapologetic. Still, Lynch won the support of 10 Republicans, including a yes vote from Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Mitch McConnell, easily the most pathetic Senate Majority Leader since his predecessor, Harry Reid. Here is a list of the 10 RINOs who put themselves ahead of America and the Constitution: Kelly Ayotte (NH) Thad Cochran (MS)* Susan Collins (ME) Jeff Flake (AZ) Lindsey Graham (SC)* Orrin Hatch (UT)* Ron Johnson (WI) Mark Kirk (IL) Rob Portman (OH) Mitch McConnell (KY)* […]

RINO Republicans will confirm Eric Holder 2.0

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, it looks like Eric Holder 2.0 (i.e. Loretta Lynch) will be the next Attorney General of the United States thanks to Republican Mark Kirk of Illinois—one of the Senate’s most reliable RINOs. I guess the Senate isn’t as racist as the Congressional Black Caucus said it was, but I digress. Now, you could argue that Kirk has an excuse for being a spineless RINO due to the fact that he represents the deep-blue state of Illinois along with the fact that he will be facing re-election in 2016. On the other hand, I’m fed up with the lying liars in the Republican party making promises in order to get our vote, only to see them spend all their time protecting their sorry butts instead of working to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States after they are in office. Even if you give Kirk a pass, what’s the excuse for Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, and Orrin Hatch? These guys all represent red states and none of them face an election in 2016. Even though Flake and Graham are pro-amnesty, you would think they would be capable of voting to stop Obama’s attempt to eliminate Congress while consolidating […]

Establishment Republicans surrender on social issues to protect their incumbency

In a recent interview with KSL radio, Senator Orrin Hatch—a member of the G.O.P. Hall of Shame for abandoning conservative principles for political benefit—added to his lofty hall of shame credentials when he decided that being a supporter of traditional marriage was simply too passé to demand any more of his attention: “Let’s face it: anybody who does not believe that gay marriage is going to be the law of the land just hasn’t been observing what’s going on,” said Hatch. “Sooner or later gay marriage is probably going to be approved by the Supreme Court of the United States, and certainly as the people in this country move toward it, especially young people. I don’t think that’s the right way to go, on the other hand, I do accept whatever the courts have to say.” Using that logic, Hatch should stop trying to defend the unborn. After all, the courts have made murdering your unborn baby the law of the land. Why bother being pro-life when the issue has been settled? Actually, that’s a rhetorical question, because John McCain—another G.O.P. Hall of Shame enshrinee—already has that one covered, as we reported when we selected him for enshrinement. If you’re talking about votes, […]

Rewriting the RNC statement

After the Obama administration’s announcement that they were postponing the employer mandate another time, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus issued this statement: The Obama Administration is failing to deal with ObamaCare because it is simply bad law. After refusing to accept bipartisan changes to the law, the administration is unilaterally making it up as they go […]

Orrin Hatch Enshrined In The G.O.P. Hall Of Shame

Ever since the T.E.A. Party helped Republicans take back the House of Representatives in 2010—along with gaining a few seats in the Senate—Republican “leaders” in both houses of Congress, in classic “cutting off the nose to spite the face” behavior, have targeted them for elimination. These RINO WIMPS (Republicans In Name Only who are Washington Insiders Masquarading as Public Servants) have made it known that there will be no room for principled politicians in Washington, particularly when they upset the apple cart of the Republican establishment. Enter Orrin Hatch. In a recent interview, he refused to endorse his fellow Senator from Utah, Mike Lee, for re-election in 2016, because Lee and other T.E.A. Party members need “rehabilitated“ before they deserve his consideration. Which is confusing, when you consider that Hatch serves on the GOP re-election committee, and claims that he wants to protect every Republican running for office. However, the picture becomes much clearer when you look at a bit of recent history. Orrin Hatch still holds a grudge for having to defend his nomination in the 2012 Republican primary, when he was challenged by 37-year-old former state Sen. Dan Liljenquist, the T.E.A. Party-supported candidate. In bit of irony, Hatch made the case in that primary that he should be re-elected so that he could “help repeal […] . . . → Read More: Orrin Hatch Enshrined In The G.O.P.
