Democrats hoping for disaster

By not confirming President Trump’s national security team the first day in office, Democrats are signaling that their resistance, aka their political stunt, takes precedence over national security. That’s a disgusting signal to send. It’s one thing to not confirm Rex Tillerson immediately. There were legitimate questions about him. It’s quite another to not confirm […]

Bob Corker ignores committee and cops out on Tillerson nomination

Apparently Bob Corker likes the title of Senator, he’s just not that keen about the job of Senator. It was just last year that Corker co-sponsored the bill that neutered–an appropriate word anytime the name “Corker” enters the conversation–the Senate’s…

Kerry’s award-winning speech

Lost in all of the criticism of John Kerry’s long-winded speech yesterday is ‘praise’ he received from Alan Dershowitz. In an interview on Fox News’ Kelly File, Prof. Dershowitz said “this speech should win an Academy Award for best fictional presentation.” The interview started with Sandra Smith asking Prof. Dershowitz “Do you think there was […]

Matthews, Hillary vs. Patricia Smith

Last night, Chris Matthews attempted to defend the indefensible. He attempted to exonerate Hillary Clinton of all blame for Benghazi. If that seems impossible to believe, check this out. It’s appalling that Matthews said that “And then to pile on to that this gross accusation that somehow Hillary Clinton had anything to do with the […]

Trump rips Obama, Hillary

Donald Trump is onto something that might change the dynamics of the presidential race. I don’t know whether it’s enough but it’s difficult picturing him not painting the Obama-Clinton foreign policy as anything but a failure. He certainly did in this article, saying “The Middle East today is more unstable than ever before”, adding that […]

Nice, ISIS & I’m pissed Megyn

Yesterday, a truck-driving terrorist killed at least 80 people attending the Bastille Day fireworks in Nice, France. NBC is reporting that a “truck plowed into pedestrians during Bastille Day celebrations in the popular French seaside city of Nice Thursday, leaving at least 80 people dead in what the nation’s president called ‘obviously a terrorist attack.’” […]

Extreme Reckless with National Security: The Case of Hillary Clinton

In July, 2016, the FBI came to the conclusion that while Hillary Clinton was serving as U.S. Secretary of State, she risked classified information by using private computer servers for email and other purposes. The FBI’s director explicitly stated that she had been extremely reckless. In legal terms, that means gross negligence. At the time, a 99-year-old statute whereby gross negligence is sufficient for a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years was still on the books. Whether or not the person knew the actions were wrong is not relevant to the statute, and thus the enforcement.  So it was perplexing to a significant number of Americans—including prosecutors and other lawyers—that the FBI director did not recommend prosecution. Crucially, extremely reckless is the same as gross negligence in legal terms.

The full essay is at “Extreme Recklessness.”

Hillary Clinton Has a Problem with Lying & Emails

Last week, the State Department confirmed Hillary Clinton failed to turn over all Benghazi and Libya documents, prompting the Chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, Trey Gowdy, to say in a statement: “This conclusively shows her email arrangement with herself, which was then vetted by her own lawyers, has resulted in an incomplete public record.” It appears that there are 15 unavailable emails between former Bill Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal and Hillary. Before I dive more into Sidney, keep in mind that last month the Daily Caller reported about his son, left-wing writer Max Blumenthal, as the architect behind Hillary’s the YouTube narrative in the days following the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya in 2012. To say the least, we’re not really dealing with the salt of the earth here. It turns out Sidney Blumenthal, although barred from working at the State Department, was still being paid $10,000 a month by the Clinton Foundation during the time that Hillary was Secretary of State to help defend Clinton from media “attacks.” In the days following his employment in Hillary’s 2008 presidential campaign, he also advised a pair of businesses seeking lucrative contracts in Libya, while […]

Hillary…A Joke!

Very funny joke about Hillary Clinton, her Benghazi failure of leadership that led to death and disgrace, her impeached husband and her general tenure at the State Department!

Question: Is this woman really qualified to be the next President of the United States? How about a local dog catcher?

I wouldn’t vote for her to be either!

Hillary…A Joke!

Hillary Clinton goes to a gifted-student primary school in New York to talk about the world. After her talk she offers question time.

One little boy puts up his hand. Hillary asks him what his name is. “Kenneth.”  “And what is your question, Kenneth?”

“I have three questions:

First – whatever happened in Benghazi?

Second – why would you run for President after your husband shamed the office?

Third –whatever happened to the missing 6 billion dollars while you were Secretary of State?”

Just then the bell rings for recess.

Hillary Clinton informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.

When they resume Hillary says, “Okay where were we? Oh, that’s right, question time. Who has a question?”

A different boy—little Johnny–puts his hand up;

Hillary points to him and asks him what his name is. “Johnny.” “And what is your question, Johnny?”

“I have five questions:

First – whatever happened in Benghazi?

Second – why would you run for President after your husband shamed the office?

Third- whatever happened to the missing 6 billion dollars while you were Secretary of State?”

Fourth – why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early?

Fifth – where’s Kenneth?

Dan Severson’s ‘closing argument’

I’m hoping that Dan Severson will defeat Steve Simon next Tuesday and become Minnesota’s next Secretary of State. To help in that effort, Dan’s running this ad: Here’s the transcript from the ad: NICOLE PELZER: I’m Nicole Pelzer and I support Dan Severson for Secretary of State. As Secretary of State, his job would be […]

$6B In Government Funds Mysteriously Vanishes From The State Department Under Hillary

missing

According to a report issued by the State Department’s inspector general Steve Linick, our State Department can’t account for over $6 billion of your tax dollars with most of the money being lost while Hillary Clinton was running things as Secretary of State. What happened to it? Who knows? It’s just, you know, gone.

Shades of Jon Corzine! And he just ‘misplaced’ a mere $1.2 billion.

Most of the money seems to have disappeared, unaccounted for as a result of outside contracts for services that nobody ever seems to have followed up on to see if the goods and services were actually ever provided. For instance, a recent investigation of the contracts involved in closing out the U.S. mission in Iraq showed that 33 of the 115 files on contracts totaling about $2.1 billion are simply gone. Nobody claims to know where the money went, what it was for or who ended up with it.

In one case, a contract file that was located failed to mention that a $52 million deal was awarded to a company owned by the spouse of another contractor working for the State Department as an employee on file as working as a ill-defined specialist.

According to the inspector general, “it is the Department’s policy that all contracts, regardless of dollar value, be properly documented so as to provide complete record of: pre-solicitation activities; the solicitation, evaluation, and award process; and [sic] the administration of the contract through closeout.”

Six billion dollars..to quote Mrs. Clinton, what does it matter? It’ll turn up eventually. Perhaps as part of the funding for a campaign in 2016.

Formerly reputable journalist turns political hack

David Ignatius’s latest article is one of the most blatantly partisan and intellectually dishonest articles I’ve read about Benghazi. Here’s one of Mr. Ignatius’s most ridiculous claims: Driving the Republican jihad was a claim, first reported in October 2012 by Fox News, that CIA personnel had wanted to respond more quickly to the Benghazi attack […]
